Yeah, actually that's reminds me, better be quick about getting a Compact Flash card of 512Mb (or two if you think one might not be enough), because at least in my area those cards are quickly disappearing out of stores and really hard to get. Those cards are being discontinued unfortunately, 1Gb is usually the lowest amount of space of compact flash you can buy, but those don't work.

Not much. Enough for a few drumkits, and that's about it.

One Card holds heaps and heaps though, so it's fine. I only use one card and just have a dir on the comp for storage purposes. When do you need more than 500 samples at once anyway??? :lol:

Yeah I pretty mad at FedEx at the moment but its cool tho. I like to splurge and buy shit all the time. ( LIKE THE 606 ) LOL

What you can do is offer to buy 1gig cards for any friends you have that have video cameras etc with old 512 cards. You make them happy and get what you want :wink:

[funtion] + [Card Util]. *I Think* (been a while since I've needed to format a card tbh).

It'll be in the manual under "Using Compact Flash" or somesuch

For Sure! Get Rid of 'em - the make the 606 sound bad! Too many peeps hear those presets and get the wrong idea about this box :lol:
