I hate abbreviations like 'lol' and such. never used it once.

Bahhhh I can't imagine life without "lol". But I'm always giggling in real life so I guess that's why. You must cringe when you read anything I write haha.

rrr* It's like that for me too. I think the whole water, steam and deep breathing through the nose puts people in a halfway meditative state. It's easier to sort through your brain when you're in that zone.

I haven't really been in the mood to make music for a minute (mixing my last tape sucked all the fun out of it for me), but I'm trying to meet a personal deadline. I was actually able to force something pretty dope out. I wonder if it will affect me positively or negatively if I get in the habit of constantly pushing myself to make things, even when the vibe is not there.

I was reading an interview with Grand Puba, and when asked why so much time goes by between his releases, he explained that he puts a lot of time and effort into his music, and he doesn't like to rush it like most people... you know, quality over quantity.

I thought this was funny because I can't think of any other hiphop artist whose albums sound so rushed. Every beat on his first 2 albums are 2-second loops with no transitions and it sounds like he's freestyling over half of it...
