Looking through my old Source and Rap magazines, I found the shop where my dad copped the MS-1 for me for graduation, it was at the deep Flatbush of BK on ave X. Also as you can see, that's what was available to a young buck on a really low budget. Take a look back.

Damn throwback thursday. Yall r getting me all sentimental and i havent even sessed yet Was thinkin a few weeks ago bout how i wish i kept all them old source mags i had every issue from firSt one up till like 96 when they tried to kill hip hop. I use to stare at that upstairs record ad and fiend over that starter package. Never got it, fuck them belt driven joints anyways. One day i will have that "starter package".
