"piiiiieeepp" sound when recording to internal memory
bad smart media card ? the noise even happens when there is no input.

mine does this but only when outputs are fed into input of 303
try changing power supplies, power strips, try different sockets, does it make the noise with batteries too? i've found the noise is also less noticeable if you turn your input up as far as it will go without distorting. experiment around i think its fixable

I have been getting this sound from many days and laptop screen flickering lenovo has not started which is really giving me trouble. Please help me to fix the problem.

i have a similar issue as don, although while recording from the 303 outputs.
just picked up the cable too, this 202 came with broken outs
