A cappella's? Where do you guys find them? And what are some techniques for using them with beats? I'm referring to rap a cappella's BTW

a lot of 12" rap singles back in the day would have an acapella on them. i find a lot of shitty stuff in dollar bins but if your just looking to cut a single line or two it can work.

if you can find the instrumental for the raps you are looking for,
you can invert the wave form and cancel out the beat and this will
leave you with the accapella. there is videos how to extract the
accapella using this technique.

if you want vinyl, then 12" singles are still being made so you can find them no problem at any store that sells hiphop music (online or actual physical stores)

They're kinda expensive now though because some studios that made the records, no longer exists, so it becomes a gem.

I kept all of the 90's Hip Hop from my youth. My brother was selling all his crates for coke, so I saved what I could the night before, pulling out like a hundred 12"s. He had techno and house records in those crates in its early form, a time when the genres were noticibly different from one another.
