HI SO I BEEN RESAMPLING FORM PAD TO PAD OF COURSE ADDINNG EVERYTHING AS I GO ,PRETTY DOPE. BUT I READ SOMETHING ABOUT PLAYING PADS FOR 99 BARS? IS IT LIKE RESAMPLE YOUR SAMPLED CHOPS IN A LOOP THEN PLAY THE DRUMS AT THE SAME TIME FOR 99 BARS? DONT KNOW IF ITS BEEN A ANSWERED QUESTION OR NOT BUT I JUST WONDERED IF ANY ONE COULD HELP ME

Use pattern sequencer, set the length to 99 bars (the maximum length) set the metronome to 40bpm (the lowest it will go) and turn the metronome volume down so you can't hear it (its like turning metronome off). Then you record the pattern, start with drums or whatever you want, go back and play the next layer, and keep building it as if you were using the resample method.

it allows you to delete hits, swap pads/samples, adjust volume levels, apply fx to individual pads at any time and increases voice polyphony during performance

I've never approached using the 303 pattern sequencer like this thank you for the technique. I always suspected madlibs reference to discipline99 was an allusion to sun ras discipline33 and the fact that sp 303 tops out at 99 patterns. I just couldn't quite wrap my mind around the practical use on the machine and it almost pains me to ask for help when I can't solve puzzles for my self. I think I'll sleep real good tonight knowing this, thank you sir or maam.
