Seems to work pretty well under win7.
Some small issues though.
-When selecting a path (number) you sometimes have to press it multiple times to make it go on/off.
- When selecting another solo button, the first one should go off. You can only have 1 solo [that's why it's called solo]

hey,
nice to hear. That "solo" button is also used for copy funciton. so if you select multiple padlines as solo , all solo marked will recognized for Copy/Paste. I don't know how i should call it
Really, can you described a little bit further where/when that happends?

Path Select ?

Figured out what's wrong. If you click a box and don't move the mouse outside of the square, the box isn't lit. Because of that, I thought nothing happend, so I clicked again. And turning it off again.
Hope you can fix this issue.

Your wish is my command...
right button acts like SOLO now. Left button is still SELECT (for copy, paste...)

Re: External Pattern Sequence editor (EPSE404 v1.5b *updated*)
A Preloop Button is now added. The first pattern can be looped 1x (so that you got a better handling for a record without sync, but to pass the time of internal precount of the SP 404).
For my setup its perfect without sync the audiosignal.
Greets, happy new year.

I don't understand how to hold a GATE pad in this program. I don't want to play the sample all they way through every time. HOw is this done in the sequencer?

Re: External Pattern Sequence editor (EPSE404 v1.5c *updated*)
No one knows how to hold a pad with GATE selected for more than one 32nd note?! I'm trying to make some nasty AMEN cuts, but I need to only hold gated samples, not play chop all the way through every time (i.e. faking pad mutes)...
Please halp!

Ive been wondering how to do this also. I'd much rather use this program than FL Studio or Ableton Live to sequence. someone help us out?

Re: External Pattern Sequence editor (EPSE404 v1.5c *updated*)
I messaged the author of the program and there's no built in GATE HOLD option for the sequencer, but you can 'fake it' somewhat by setting the the GATE button off and LOOP on. Then you send on/off notes to that pad.
You can't get extremely detailed with it, but it works okay for the most part.
