Ok so I'm new to this site but I would like to know how, if it's somehow possible, to use my 606 as a midi controller. The latest driver seems to be to old for my Mac.
I'm running OS X 10.7 on a Mac Book Pro, have a midi keyboard, use the 606 and have studio monitors. If anybody could help me with this I'd be very grateful.
1. I want to use the 606 as a Midi controller in Ableton Live 9.
2. My monitors run through the 606 and without it being fully compatible with the computer, I can only hear sound from my computer by running a aux cable to the 606 and turning on the Input Source.
PS. I'm looking into getting a Tascam US-144MKII (audio interface) and running the 606 & monitors through that)

Press MENU goto "USB Audio/MIDI" set "Vender Driver" to OFF, press "EXIT" ,turn off sp-606 properly (FUNC+EXIT) ,turn it on and usb-audio should work.(no midi)
If you don't have any other midi interface to connect the physical(no usb) midi ports of 606 buy a cheap usb-midi interface instead of tascam and you are ready to rock!
