I may have looked at this model when it was initially released but I can not remember it.. looking at it now I'm thinking it's a bargain for around $300 US
Have you worked with one ? Let me know your thoughts and feelings good or bad about this device
thanks

it's a fucking beast. it's, to me, some kind of upgraded SP (in it's simplicity) with a BUNCH of function and trick that SP don't have. but it doesn't replace one as I couldn't imagine myself playing a set nor completing a beat on one.
it just pairs really well with sp.
i sampler a song using keygate, jam chops while I have a drum beat on the 404, then resample my jam on the microsampler, then effect/timestreh/whatever and send into my 404.
i don,t know man it's just a really good tool that I would recommend to everyone that already have another sampler.
this beat was made in prolly 30-40 minute using keygate sampling and messing around the chops. the drum were prolyl shitty sample in the 404 and the bass is my shruthi-1 ( I THINK...)

the chops of this were made the same way but I don't remember this song too much.

Is it true that you can't adjust the start and end points of samples? I was reading some reviews at Amazon and a lot of dicks have their pet peeves. Only thing holding me back is the 160 sample time.
Re: has anyone here ever worked on a Korg microsampler ?
you can adjust the start/end point. but yes the sample time is pretty limited especially compared to a 303 or 404.
Re: has anyone here ever worked on a Korg microsampler ?
you can however sample in 24k mono for double that

the microsampler is a great machine but i make better beats on the sps. i would try to get one for 200, that's what i paid. like rabot said it compliments sps well but is difficult stand alone, for example i have trouble playing samples i chopped on beat on it well which has never been a problem on sps or mpcs for me. also looping is a ***** on it. for one shots it's great, and the keyboard mode is dope. check out the microsampler tips and tricks, there's a lot of nice ones in there including one i did about multiple keyboard parts which is essential IMO.
TBH i'm probably selling mine soon as i'm spless at the moment, thought i'd be fine with just a microsampler and sampletrak but not finding that to be the case.
