heartbeat kick drum

I have some ideas but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask... how can I get that smooth heartbeat kick drum sound?

try sampling the kick drum of

Massive attack - Teardrop

i got that kick as a stock sound on my sx. filter and compress

As soon as you mentioned it i had the drum sound in my head. At first i was like "Heartbeat kick".
