So what volume do you guys normally recording your samples and aim to have your mixes around? I usually have my volume knob turned to about 75%.
also side question, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but is there a way to get more sample banks than the 10? I have a hard time deleting samples off my sp :/

Re: 404 volume question
Sorry, you have to back up your samples to free up pads.
As for mixing, I tend to go about 50% when I'm seeing if the levels are okay. As long as things don't clip while I'm resampling, I tend to just remove a little bit of the peaks on the computer with Classic Limiter as I render to mp3.
If you're resampling and you're not maxed constantly in the red (just flashing for, say, kicks and other quick stuff that should be loud to get heads bobbin'), you should be okay.
