303 Memory Card Transfer

Post by Calvinhobbes »

I'd been using my friend's 404 (og) for a little over a month and really loved it so I bought my own 303 and love it even more. I wasn't too concerned about the memory storage since I only work with small chops, but I need available pads to resample a beat. With the 404 I was able to record in sounds to certain pads, export the memory card and save my entire set of banks and sounds by dragging the "ROLAND" Folder to my desktop via card reader. Then I would have a clean slate to work with after I reinserted the memory card. I'm wondering if I could do the same thing with the 303's sm card as long as I got the card reader for it. If someone could illuminate this puzzle for me, I'd greatly appreciate it

Yup. Works exactly the same, no black magic or sorcery needed.
