holy shit that kit is crazy, the one i got was a plug and play, no soldering what-so-ever. Just screw in the board, plug in some cables to an already open port, close and play.

Im highly considering getting another one. They are fun as shit once you have the midi hooked up or running it with the iphone app to get some swing in it.
I dont even record anymore, i got no time to make songs, but i totally turn my bedroom into a one hour live set of the weirdest noises my neighbors ever heard, with some dumping ass drums. Very fun. @ would make it even better. Get a whole live synth session. fun as hell.
