I saw Future Producers was mentioned and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"I UZE YER PROGRAM AND MY BEATZ AIN'T FAT. FIX DIZ BUGZ."

That was about the level of questions/answers I saw there. Granted I only swung by twice, never joined. But it seemed like a lot of guys, whether they could make music or not, just seemed really out of it. :)

Really diggin' the SPForums. Definitely the most chill place I've been a member of and lots of cool dudes and helpful cats. Much respect.

@Keesj: Thank you! That pic's totally bad arse too. 8)

@Korakios & Ellaguru: True, but I'm lazy & set the velocity to 100% then adjust it in the sequencer afterwards. Slow way to work, but it's way more precise than how I play naturally.

Haven't used the Padcontrol but I do own a nanopad2 & those are nice but the latency issue with using computers ruins it for me. But that's for another thread (how to fix latency), I've diverted this one enough. Looks like I'm off to troll Future Producers...

Hahahaha! Damn to see one of these threads.

Strayfield, just keep doing your thing and forget the clowns. The music is what backs them off. I took the heat to the lab and made some heat. I never knew you posted a topic there until this thread.

Let me know if you need help with that 500. I know it like the back of my hand. I love it because its small and powerful but the engineering of it fucken sucks. I have no issue with the screen, its how half baked the OS is. But anyway, stay strong.

Nice find Unfoldings. Can't believe they locked the thread after I told them who Chulukinat was. Kinda ridiculous to be trolling a thread about a sampler in a studio enviroment forum. I could name many cats that have at least one SP in their set-up. Actually Tutor doesn't like that shit that goes on there and will stop it if notified. Most times the kraken is released when someone gets an attitude, they're ridiculed by all classes, trolls will say you're brain damaged, liberals will say you're too angry and will boast about themselves how relaxed life is for them, rappers will say you're gay, then a random meme appears, rinse and repeat. hahaha!

Just handle yourself and own your world. Keep posting there and ftw.

....doesn't mean I'll join futureproducers, fuck them.

Anyway, that's the story I guess. I should mention we've had a lot of help from awesome volunteers/moderators/admins that help run the battles, keep the forum spam-free (as much as possible), etc.

Is it you or a volunteer that maintains the beat tape/album/EP downloads section? That's one section of the site I really wish had been kept up with but doesn't look like it's been updated in a long time. I've noticed some threads have been showing up about other members' past releases and then a bunch of people have been trying to put together or recreate their releases (the LBJ discography thread comes to mind).

Basically, all I'm asking is there any chance that the tape sticky with quick d/l links to everyone or backups to people using file sharing services will ever be updated again?
