Hi guys
just need some help regarding some clarification about the sx.
1.Sampling - so press sample to record my sample from decks, then do I play the sample holding the pad and then press the mark in to where I want my sample to start from and mark out to end?
2.Once I set the start and end points on that one sample on 1 pad, how do I go about getting chops from it. For example I have recorded a bar but there's 4 chops I want from it, but its on that one pad, how do I distribute it to across the other pads?.
3.Resampling - when I apply and record the effects does it record the knob twisting if tha makes sense?.

1.) hit record, hit the pad you wish to record to, hit record to start recording from your source. Hit record again to stop recording. Hit pad to play back.
2.)There's multiple methods to do this. One thing I do (some people have other methods and hopefully they'll chime in with their technique), I set mark positions on the original sample then resample from the point i want on a new pad if it's a long sample. If it's a shorter sample, I simply copy original pad over to new pads using FUNC+1(COPY) then set the markers on each pad.
3.) Whatever is playing through the 404 when you resample = what is recorded. So in other words, yes and it's definitely a feature that I am pretty sure every single 404 user uses.
