Need help with volume!

Hey guys I had a little question about playing my microkorg through my sp 404sx. I have both pieces of equipment plugged into a single amp and when playing each separately it sounds fine but when I want to record from microkorg to sp the sound is really low. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Adjust the line in volume of the "ext source" on the 404 by pressing the level button and using ctrl knob 3.

If your amp has 2 input sources and the 404 and microkorg are going to individual inputs than there's a good chance you can get a louder volume from the microkorg. When you hook something up through 404 inputs there's a max volume it can be. When it's too loud the red LED peak light indicator comes on. You might wanna check the 404 manual and refresh yourself about recording from the inputs (RCA or MIC).

Ok so I pushed record pushed ex source then had both vol on the same level and both vol levels on the amp are the same but I still can't hear anything. Any ideas?
