i've got trouble deleting

Post by youngmarblegiant »

i just picked up a used 303. it's the second 303 i've owned and i'm having some serious trouble deleting.

for some reason, everything that the previous owner had sampled in the A and B banks can not altered. i'm not able to delete, re-record, gate, loop or reverse these samples (those pads do nothing when i touch them). the C and D banks, however, work perfectly (i'm able to work all functions with them). i'm worried because i know the A and B banks are internal and these samples may be stuck in the machine forever.

does anyone have any advice/ideas? thanks much!

I never used the 303 but maby you gotta turn off the protect setting to delete those pads. try holding down cancel while turning the machine on.

Yeah, if you don't have the manual download it. What I recommend is to remove the write protection on the bank if he put it on and then initialize the internal banks and you should be good to go.

yea write protection is on, i think you hold delete and turn the machine on to turn it off, this happens when the machine powers off while its saving or deleting.
