I'm still tripping that u used such a cheap Mic,and it sounds up to par w Lo fi stuff done on more expensive "industry standard" dynamic mics. I find that really interesting...was there much eq done to the vocals? Again though, dope album.

I just used a pop filter. No extra eq. I mixed each song individually from tape to Cool Edit pro. Then mastered it. If you want to call it that. Glad you think it sounds good though.

I copped a handheld cassette recorder that's the size of a walkman. Gonna get it poppin' on recording vocals soon when I finally get these beats done for my homeboy.

I like seeing more releases come out on cassette.
It's a great media format for actual tangible music
for fans that support artists by actually buying music.
Let's face it, nobody is buying CDs anymore. And vinyl got a high sticker cost with minimum requirement for pressing.
After I bought a portable cassette, it's become more popular amongst the co-workers as a device to bump tunes to than others' iPods.
Some were amazed that it plugged into the modern stereo equipment.
And I got a chuckle tonight at the speedy tape sound of the rewind button when I just had to replay the end of a Jedi Mind Tricks track.
