Thinking bout getting a 404sx

Im thinking bout getting a 404sx.. i have the 606.. is the 404sx different?

i've had a og 404 since around '07. it was my second hardware sampler after a 303. i just got a 606 about three weeks ago. i haven't really done a beat on it yet but i love the mute groups, clipboard, dual mfx and mastering button. the 606 also has external resample which the 404 doesn't. 404 + 606 is an ill combo though. the 606 has some extra fx that are really dope. you will love the 404 though. no menus or screen is huge to me. 404 is better for live fx tweaking. also dedicated gate and loop buttons

The 404sx became my best friend the second I made my first tune. It begs foe creativity....extremely inspiring. It's easy to use...the effectscan mangle anything, and they sounds great....the workflow is quick and intuitive...I have not used my Mac and ableton suite setup in weeks,and my music thanks me for it.

Awesome music Astromass, especially when it was done on the 404. What type of synths did you sample from?

Yo. Thanks man! a lot of the sampled synth stuff came from the ipad. I also sampled a lot with the built in mic.
