midi trigger problem
Hello, I'm new to the forum and I have a question about triggering the sp-606 with an external drum machine...in this case I'm using a TR-626's midi out. I have no problem triggering individual pads when the sample came from the SD card. (loading bass drums from my computer, etc.) However, when I record audio directly in to the SP-606 and sample that way and put it onto a pad...the pad won't trigger from midi. I'm fully aware of assigning individual midi notes to each pad too. So I must be missing something. Thanks.

i'm driving sp-606 pads (with sampled sounds from imput source) with a dr-660.
this is my midi setting:
606
pad base ch:1
pad tx mode:type 2
sync mode:int
tx midi sync:on
soft thru:on
if you have the same setting, maybe check better the tr626 one....hope this helpa!
