There is an app called tb midi stuff that allows you to see all parameters of the microkorg as sliders and knobs. Until I can save up for something knobby it's a decent work around for 5 bucks. I'm also working on controlling the 404 effect parameters with an xy pad, just gotta make the template .

guys this synth is MAGIC!
i was about buying one for 70€ 2 years ago...great/weird sound...for ambient music it's miracle...plus:the joystick to change/play/glitch sounds is sex...

I don't really wanna hijack this thread, but I'm getting pretty enthousiastic about the Alesis Ion. Any thoughts on that synth?

I think the ion synth was discontinued because of complaints things were always braking on them apparently, but they repackage the exact synth engine into the alesis micron but with less knobs, the sounds that synth can make are crazy lots of modulation options, plus it can sound really analog too. Shame it would be a bitch to program no without all the knobs of the ion but there is software for it to program it like a soft synth
