This is the first half of my latest full-lenght album. It runs for just a little under 30 minutes and it's got introspective instrumental hip hop music on it. For those of y'all who know me and know what I do, how I get down - y'all know what it is. It's that time again. I did everything on the whole joint except for the cover art, which is of course by none other than the honorable Espe: http://essu.deviantart.com/

And I gotta say to folks on this forum who aren't up on what I do: I don't use an SP(as of yet anyway). I'm posting this stuff on here because the man Ill-Green was letting some of y'all know about what I do - cats told me to bring the heat if I got it, and here it is once again. Figured y'all would enjoy. All listens are very much appreciated.

Also, get at me on twitter. I don't tweet useless crap ever:

I got interviewed by the veteran MC/producer Blueprint, who I'm sure is familiar to at least some of you from his work with Rjd2 as Soul Position. Check the interview out on here:

There's also a brand new track featured on the interview for y'all to check out.

A nice mix of soulfoul melody.
You got a good DJ ear to dig for source material.
Really clean production sound.
I like your chops. Especially at the end of "Steel Drum".
Gave it a full listen, but don't have it downloaded. I hate using those file sharing sites after getting some spammy virus from using in past.
You're using Bandcamp, why not offer an "official" download? Or even make some cheddar off it with a name your price.

Very understandable. The reason why I don't have it directly on bandcamp is because they enforce a policy of having to buy download tickets in order to give projects away for free(my personal life does not permit income from something like this for stupid bureaucratic reasons). As much as I want folks to peep and enjoy what I make, I'm not going to pay somebody to put my shit out for free.
Rest easy with the mediafire link though, it's pretty much the only file hosting site I trust, and all of the album downloads are clean and proper.

Later on once my situation has changed I'll be sure to put a price tag on everything I produce, that's for sure

Big up for checking the music out, I really appreciate it! Hope it manages to stay in rotation too.

I'm giving this a bump to let folks know that the second volume is gonna take it's sweet time arriving - it'll most likely be out some time late this summer.

However, I'm currently working on a little something called Radio Bambu Episode #1 which will be the first of several continuous mixes. The first episode is a show consisting of around 20 tracks of new solo material. And after that one, there are plans for the following episodes to feature all kinds of cool stuff, like a tape of strictly video game samples and a children's record of sorts. Some of them will not feature original material at all but rather are more straight up dj mixes exploring different corners of the global music world. The episodes will be distributed via the blog, which is here: http://mawone.livejournal.com/

Much respect, props and love for everyone who've found some time to check my music out and have enjoyed it, and maybe even told their friends about it! I hope the music is worth some repeated rotations!

Peace peace.
