SP-303 to MacBook

Hello All, I wanted to hook my SP up to my macbook so I could use it with programs like garageband or audacity. I have a rca to line cable. After I plug that into the headphone jack of my laptop does the rca end go into the line in or line out on my sp? And what sort of preferences should I set my computer to for recording from SP to the computer.

The headphone out would go to the line in of the sp... I think.. I'm a newbie here but I'm just starting to find out just how cool this little sampler is.
