Home of Quaker Made Meats (the company that makes those frozen sandwich steaks), Tom Sturgis Pretzels, Unique Pretzels, Reading Premium Beer from Reading Brewery, the Reading Phillies, and for those who didn't know the Reading Railroad spot on the Monopoly board was named after our defunct rail transit line. We are the poorest city in the U.S. according to NY Times.

We do have an authentic Japanese style Pagoda at the top of mountain here that provides inspiration whenever necessary.

dirtyham, MA, it's a ****ing slum. that's what i rep i lived there till i was 23 (i'm 26) doing dirt acting trife but i had to get out. all the dudes i grew up with are in jail and i was headed there so i moved to marlboro ma i reasonably quiet city.

I've been living in Tacoma WA for the last 8 and a half years. It rules. 30 min to Seattle or Olympia in either direction, both have amazing thriving music scenes. The skateboarding in Tacoma is great, rent is cheap and it's dirty as fuck which makes me feel at home. Doing music in Tacoma is quite a bit slower, which I dig, I play in Seattle and Olympia way more often than in Tacoma itself, which still isn't that often. Lots of good digging in my city as well.

As far as the Seattle hip hop scene is concerned, BMN is a great place to start, Man Danno is a fucking genius, look up Dil Withers, 3rd Eye Bling, Dax-O-Tronic, Nameclone/SharkDentures, SmearOne, J Revels, Heretic Skeptic, Xero Ours, Clydewell Aseity, Crazy Monk, Beanz and Rize, Awall aka 2piece. The scene here is really diverse in both styles and content. That list of artists is spread from Everett to Olympia which I consider the whole scene here.
