Playing sample back just once

This might be a dumb question, but I just got my sx and I noticed that while it's easy to loop a sample I could not figure out how to make it play all the way through once and then stop. I looked for a while through the manual and I still can't find out how. Is there a way to do this, and if so how? Thanks

Make sure the "loop" and "gate" buttons are NOT lit. Then it will play a sample 1 time and stop at the end.
