Album pre-release?
An old album I've been working on forever. Posted some snippets of it here on the forums but not really any feedback... really looking for some good criticism. How to improve the audio quality, etc.
Either way, enjoy (again if you've seen the previous post of it)

I like the drums and synths alot, but i think the beats have a lil too much mid frequencies.

Firstly, the beats are all polished & complete sounding. Not much really needs to be done with what you've made so far. If you want to stretch out those tracks into larger ideas then just don't forget basic music theory (scales, chord progressions, circle of 5ths etc). Doubt that's any issue for you though, going by what I've heard from you to date.
What format(s) were you hoping to get your music released on? If you want to go down the vinyl or tape angle then get a pro to mix & master it. There's issues with phasing that can be tricky when putting stereo music onto wax (especially with low frequencies). If you want to put it on tape then don't go too heavy on the compression & don't overcompensate the lows because they'll turn into mud or the highs because they'll swarm out the mids.
If you're gonna do CDs & digital downloads then the mix sounds OK right here. Honestly, that beat tape sound fine coming through my crappy laptop speakers. If you can make it sound good on high & low end speakers then you're fine for a digital release.
^All that said my ears are totally untrained. Just been reading up a bunch about mastering of late. Self-taughts like most of us here tend to miss the finer points though.
As valuable as other people's opinions can be, they aren't everything. Don't be afraid to simply have a crack at getting your music out & presented in a way you feel comfortable with.
If you want high end feedback you're probably best sitting down with a sound engineer in a studio for an afternoon. Worth getting it mixed by the engineer too. Yeah it'll cost you, but it should reveal a couple of useful gems.
Most studios & mastering dudes should be open to doing things at discount rates for up & coming DIY acts. If they aren't then fuck 'em & ask yourself 'what would Steve Albini do?'
