All you gotta do is have a Bandcamp account & start buying music from there. Easy!

While I really love the idea of sharing recommendations based on purchase (coupled with Bandcamp's hear it all for free angle), I can't help thinking that awesome music that gets slept on will get slept on harder because users may not wander from profile to profile as much as they used to. On the other hand, it will sort the wheat from the chaff.

Do free downloads count on fan profiles?

Yeah I hear that, I guess time will tell though.

Not done any downloads since I signed up yesterday so don't know if free ones show up. Will test it out later.
