Re: Sp and dr 202
i had the sp202 in couple with the dr202. didin't really mess with, but the 2 were conceived to work together, initially. the ext track on the dr is very cool to drive external midi machines. i still have the dr202 with me.

Re: Sp and dr 202
I'm totally thinking about getting these 2 again. I don't need the dr202 per se, because I have 3 drum machines/grooveboxes already, but they are cheap, and it is a fun setup when you have both. Can't decide if I should get the SP202 or DR202 first, but I'd definitely want to route the DR through the SP, set it on lofi and get the crunch in the beats!

as i said other times, the dr202 is very fun to use and program, it sounds cool too, it has the mot awesom dum and bass patterns ive heard on a drum machine, but, DAMN, you cannot midi out the fantastic roll-flam phrases out of t!

That's why you might want the SP around. So you can sample the drum rolls. I almost forgot about that feature. Didn't know it can't send it as a Midi out, but oh well. Can't expect everything.

I'm down, but my hands are tied until later this month. If anybody else beats me to it, no worries.
