This is the pre-vinyl version of the latest Saint Surly & Monster Monster album "On the off Chance".

This album is a completely collaborative effort, marking a true progression of our sound and approach towards making music together [no sequences.. all tapped out/played and recorded live]. There is a whole bunch of different gear used on this release (live drums, MPC, sp303/404, sp1200, etc..).

Basically we just couldn't wait to get it out, so here it is in a long playing format of sorts...

Stay tuned for the vinyl release!!!

Yo, I used to read Monster-Monster comic books back in the day, he was a superhero. Besides Hulk and Spiderman, I used to dig for the obscure comics that no one heard of because shit was raw with blood, sex, and violence.

I liked how you made this sound like a piece of vinyl, good work and good vibes.

My bad, just dug it up from the vault... his name was Mr. Monster from Eclipse. Got a bunch of Cracked magazine too with monster themes, pretty funny, I think I got it confused from the two, there was a monster-monster issue but not a character, just means its extra monstrous :lol:

There was a Bat-Bat though, a bat version of Batman from Mighty Mouse...

The Saint Surly / Monster Monster stuff is so Dope!
I bought the pre-vinyl preview off Bandcamp and was bumping it at work.
We were in the kitchen checking out the YouTube videos of the live drumming, the different shots up of the work in the layered beat, and the artwork by Monster is sick!
Definitely good stuff. I'm an instant fan.
I'm waiting on the vinyl.
