Everyone has got that record they are a bit embarrassed about liking too much. Mine.....hall and Oates abandon luncheonette. She's gone still pulls at me but the rest of the album is just great(to me) early mid 70s cheese.

My girlfriend's been playing loads of Kpop & Jpop over the past few months & I'm just starting to enjoy it. The boyband & solo male stuff is shitting painful, but the solo & small group girl singers can be fun. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu & Perfume have put out some great commercial pop.

That said both of them have been been produced & written by someone called Yasutaka Nakata. Had/still has his own group called Capsule, yet to check that out though.
Ah, guilty pleasures... Back in 2009 a workmate told me Public Enemy was his guilty pleasure when he saw a copy of Fear Of A Black Planet on my desk. He interpreted their black power angle as being a way of closing the door on anyone who isn't black (kinda like how white supremicists tend to closet themselves). He was relieved to find out its OK to listen to PE after that chat... Weird.
