I'm fresh off the boat with this machine, I just got a SP-404sx a few hours ago, and have a tiny problem I was hoping someone could help me with.

So I was itching to get my own samples onto the pads as quickly as I became familiar with the ins and outs and did so about thirty minutes ago.

Beforehand I had put the stock samples onto a 16GB SDHC card of mine so I could still mess around with some of the drums sounds while using my own samples, I don't know if that is the source of the problem.

But anyway, I assigned small five or so second samples to pads 1 and 2 in my bank A but still have pads 3-12 set to the samples that come out of the box, when I try to loop my samples, I can't, and the display says "Prt" when I press the "Loop" button.

"Hold" is not working either.

So where should I go from here? Is it a problem with me having those stock samples on an SD card also occupied by my own sounds? Or something else?
