logic pro and sp 202
So after hours of googling and search through the logic pro manual im at a lose. So what im trying to do is use ultrabeat or any sequencer to trigger and control samples with my sp ive tried but i just cant seem to figure it out. if you could help me im in need of it
Re: logic pro and sp 202
you could create a midi track and go to the note editor (forgot how it's called, been a long time since i used logic and the 202) and put dots in the matrix where you want to have your samples. you have to set the track to the same midi channel as the 202. and you have to try out which notes trigger the samples. hope that helps somehow...

THANK YOU SO MUCH LOL
finally i got it to trigger YES ok so one last question i know your not familair(from what i understand with logic) but how to i trigger the midi with sequencer like say ultra-beat or any other sequencer on logic
Re: logic pro and sp 202
glad i could help a little but i don't know anything about these other sequencers in logic.
Re: logic pro and sp 202
I dump all of my samples into my computer and sequence them from a rompler.
To me that just makes more sense.... especially since you're sequencing from LOgic and probably recording in Logic as well.

How do you dumb all your samples from your 202 to your computer also what is a good rompler plug in
Re: logic pro and sp 202
I actually bounce samples back and forth from my sp202 and sp404... the 404 has a compact flash card.... however you will be fine just plugging your 202 audio outs into your interface and recording the samples into your daw
as far as a rompler plug-in goes, this would be my choice

EDIT: and If you're on a mac (like me) this might be the choice

I do the same in Reason using the NNXT sampler and Kong

hahahahaha the two words in one subject cracked me up.
if u get thr usb to midi cheapo cabels off ebay then set thenmidi to be sent out via usb.. got it set up on ableton few months ago with a 202... it is doable. also maybe check audio midi settings on system pref on da mac
also check the 202s manual for the note layout..ch1 etc
