Maybe this is a dumb question but I can't figure it out.
Say I have an entire track loaded onto a pad and its playing. Then I play another sample or two on other pads. Is there a way to apply effects onto the original pad that has the entire track loaded on it?
Thanks

Strike the pad you want the effect applied to, do not strike any other pads until your effect is applied how you want it.

cool, thanks. Simpler than I thought. I thought I had to use "remain" to accomplish this. Whats "remain" for then? So if you're going to use other pads you have to stick with just one effect for that original pad?
sorry for the noob questions

if you hold remain the pad that has the effect on it will light up. Punching other pads will put the effect on them as well.

You use the remain button to add the fx to different pads. If you hold down remain and the MFX pad, it will apply the fx to every single pad. Pretty handy. Although, once the fx are on every pad you need to hold down remain and the mfx to take them all off again.

If I'm reading this right you wanna have one effect on the main pad/pattern while playing pads w other effects? Just resample that one pad w desired effect..then u can play the other ones and bounce around w various efx
