..nuff said . if you know how to use the effects nd' got to terms with using the resample for orchestration .. i used to use isolator nd' pitch shift .. with greater understanding its chromatic pitch nd' eq ..plus no more sequencer mode .. SP music is the modern dub music on my opinion .. or atleast how i operate .. still so many more things to learn ..

i would agree with you in calling sp music the "new" dub music. perhaps it is the modern post DAW heir to the dub legacy. you make loops, then add effects in real time, and sit their and jam out. it is definitely a similar process to dub. also, i can't think of anything else that is truly affordable that the masses are using to produce music away from their DAW's.
