If I use the gameboy than I have access to all sources to create the sounds: gb synth (ds-10), guitar (Jam sessions), drum/synth/ambient sounds (electroplanctone).
Is it allowed to use these "games"?
Mate, as awesome as the DS10 is (I've got that as well)n& the other stuff you name- that's out. As Blav suggested, try sampling from old games & his drums, nothing else. If you don't have any old consoles lying around that's OK, there's shitloads of video game music posted on youtube.
It'd be cool for everyone reading this could encourage/bribe/coerce their favourite SP dude/dudette to contribute a track to the tape as well as putting forwards their own.
