New Member, Trouble Deciding On Which SP

Whats going on! about 8 years ago i had a sp 505 (RIP). Currently im making beats with ableton, maschine, and microkorg. Im interested in getting an SP for doing live sets, so i dont have to lug around my laptop, mpd, apc40 and stuff. Im not too concerned with making beats on an SP, but i might get into it. Right now my eye is on the SP 404sx. Any suggestions?

I've had the 404og, 505, 606 and currently have the 404sx.

Would defo recommend the 404sx, especially for live. Nice and portable, plus the pad copy and exchange function is a god send for organising samples.

Never used the 555, but its got 4 more pads and the d beam. Not sure if that would interest you. Search afta 1 live in YouTube. He uses the d beam to control the filter on his samples live. Works very nice.
