Need help with memory card

Post by Plan7 »

Ok so I just got my 128gb smartmedia card in the mail today. I put the memory card in and format it but now I don't know how I record a sample so that it saves to the memory card and not te internal memory. If someone could tell me what to do to get the sample to record to the memory card that would be greats. Thanks

if you want to record samples on the card, use the card's banks (from 16 to 32) to record samples.

The other day I turned on my 505 and I didn't have access to the card banks. It was weird because I had used it a few hours earlier. I took the memory card out and put it in my PC card reader and all the files were still on there. I copied the files to the PC and deleted all the information on the card from the computer. I put the SM card back into the 505 and let the machine format it again. Now the 505 was giving me access to the card banks. I took the card out and copied the files back onto it from the computer and everything was all good. I didn't lose any data and the card is being read again.

I dunno..... Old technology is weird.....
