Is it true you can only resample in the same bank?

i read a post a while ago that the 606 can only resample in the same bank. i have an opportunity to get a 606 for cheap but if this is true it's out of the question.

not sure, but with the clipboard it doesnt matter.
you can move any sample to any bank you want.

Yes, its true. Like knobsmcgee said, with clipboard, you can move the sample to any padbank.

unfortunately this is true. when you resample you cannot change bank.
on the 505 you can resample on any bank, not on the 606...(damn roland...)
