Mod election

Post by URASUN »

Just wanted to promote the mod election question.
I would do the job. I got enough time to browse trough the forum nearly every day and i would love to erase all the spam posts.

So, how can we make this happen ?

@formal i tried to dig your post about this topic, but couldn´t find it.

peace

I nominate ellaguru! Look at his post count, that guy deserves to be a mod for his time spent here.

If ellaguru (or whoever) wants to be a mod, then does anyone have contact details for the guys who run the site? I believe only admins can make someone a mod.

keesj is the admin for the site. usually posts about "site maintenance" are written by him, and let you PM him. he's always been very approachable, in my experience.

You will just need to delete spam posts, its easy. Once an admin gives you mod status you will see a "delete" option on ALL posts next to where the "edit" and "quote" buttons are.

I could do it but what i think is that is better someone who could stop spaming frome the "roots" of that.
Anyway i'll try to contact the administrator to see with him that thing.
Ps
What i don't like being a mod is that you figure as a part of administration, i ever disliked that.

Eindhoven. ;)

Nah, I'm really busy working on my companies so unfortunately I don't have time to check the forums that often. Hopefully with the new mods the spam should become less of a problem.
