Good Morning, Just looking for a quick answer. My nephew just picked up a roland sp 606 form the fleamarket. all we have is the system it self and the power cable. My question is does the sp 606 have a internal speaker or does it need somthing hooked up to it so that we can hear the sounds coming from it. it powers on and everything seems to work just fine but we have yet to hear any sound coming from it. what else would i have to get to get this playing correctly?
thank you in advance for any help you can provide!!!

Re: Quick Noob Question
have you got samples on the inside?
or
have you tried the synth on the dbeam?
this machine doesn't need nothing but that.

Re: Quick Noob Question
Im pretty sure it doesnt have a speaker. You need headphones or some speakers to plug into - the headphone jack will be a big one not small like ipods/etc (you can get an adaptor), the output should probably be labelled as output 1 & 2 or L & R, it will either be 1/4" plugs or RCA plugs.
also download the manual if you havent got one

Re: Quick Noob Question
Defintely hook it up to a sound system, remove your PS3 from the home theater and get the right cables to connect to witness the power of the 606.
