SP-555 Remain Option

Post by naps »

hey,

i'm a long time 404 user and i just got a 555 - but i seem to be running into a problem.

whenever i used the 'remain' button on the 404 to have an effect assigned to only one sample/pad, i would be able to press another pad without the effect also applying to that newly pressed pad. however, now when i assign an effect to a pad on the 555 using remain, as soon as i press a new pad the effect also applies to that pad...

whats up with that?

use the SP-555's effect assign button to assign (and remove) affects to specific pads. you can even use the affect to assign affects to pads on different banks aside from the main bank you're using (only while in sequencer mode)

I have a video of myself doing it in real time if it helps:
