yeah robot drums can suck sometimes, but same with resample finger drums,
im not a hardcore quanitize nazi, its just lots of this resample shit is just bad. ive heard some good stuff though, seems to sound better if its side chained to death.

first half was chopped and looped to a metranome, second part is all live, no special timing or click track.

anyway this isnt finished, it actually pounds harder.

shakers help get em swingin, just practice really. youll find your methods sooner or later just keep at it.

bongos, brushes and delays on perc will shuffle it up nice too.

personally, with the 303:
I take a kick sample and use the delay efx with the rate of quantize I would like. ex. 1/8 ,1/16.
I think I put knob 2 is at zero and knob 3 at 100% ~ I THINK.
-I'll test it out tonight.

yeah that should be it ndrw - feedback 0, wet 100% - so you only hear the delayed note, and it only plays once
