Loop your drum break
DJFX with ctrl 1 about 12oclock ctrl 2 at like 0.9 (aka 5oclock)
Mess with ctrl 1 in between 10 to 2 oclock whlie sample play
Resample.

Enjoy the sloppyest glitch swing.

Some effects get tons of love: Vinyl comp, DJFX, BPM looper etc.
Here are a couple that don't get quite as much:

1. LoFi Comp (SP555) - a versatile, loud, grungey-bitcrushed-if-you-want sound - can also be tasteful and punchy. You can blend this with your main signal like parallel compression and get some great balance

2. Radio Tuning - Can be used to thicken up sounds/add a little nice mud. Works great on snares.

3. 555 reverb - 2 Rooms, 2 Halls, 2 stages, with tone and decay. Hall 1 and Stage 2 are great imo.

---------------------------------

Make a mean ass bass drum:
1. take a regular bass, resample with tuned subsonic
2. resample with slight highs boosted (click/attack sound)
3. resample with slight LPF
4. resample with slight bit crush
5. (optional) add either EQ or compression and save
6. (optional) take that sound, DJFX it to pitch it down 10% and save as a 2nd bass.

Bump. Heres some basic 303 tricks
Stop a sound-While playing a pad, to stop it, just hit loop and then the pad again.
Skip to the end of a sample-hit loop and reverse to get to the end of your sound.
Pitch(Kinda obvious)-Knob 2 all the way left, Knob 3 all the way right. Use knob 1 to control your pitch.

Run a sample in "loop" mode only on the SP-404 (or similar) that is already trimmed to loop perfectly. Set it to have FILTER MFX on it. While it is playing, double tap [MARK] to do an impromtu DJ FX Looper and then hit [mark] again to release in time and it will start over at the beginning of the loop (hint: each time you do it, change up the timing and/or grab point to keep it unpredictable). While you have grabbed the quick loop, sweep the filter over it to your liking. You obviously can't resample this internally, but it works great in a live setting to freak a loop and be able to use two effects at once. You can also get really wide chunks that aren't possible with DJ FX Looper.
