Anybody else agree? I've owned both & I just like the way the 404 sounds. I'm just curious how many other people think so too. I like the OG 404's effects the most out of the whole SP range. I used to be a 606 fanboy.

i think the 404 og crackles are way to spikey, nothing mellows them out, maybe tape, with the crackle really low, and the master low aswell.

i kinda remember the 303 crackles being softer and the compressor,

the sp505 has the best flutter.

Oops, I meant to say vinyl sim "compressor." I think the compressor sounds the best.
