i have a few questions.
1) i want to record microkorg sounds into sp 505. how do i do so?
2) what settings and such must be applied to microkorg and sp 505 to perform this function?
3) how do i record phrases onto sp 505 pads?
4) how are songs created on sp 505?

3. by playing the phrases you want on the microkorg and recording them
4. piece together the phrases you recorded and add other stuff to it

"songs" on the boss sp505 (on the roland sp606/on the korg es1/esx/on the akai mpc series/on the ensoniq asrx etc) is the way you link "patterns" between them. "patterns" are samples sequenced together. "samples" are...etc etc...freckles516 wrote:i4) how are songs created on sp 505?

also take advantage of that 4 track sequencer, for example.
Track 1 - bass drum, hi hats
track 2 - snare
track 3 - samples/bass line
easier to do buildups, drop outs that way
etc
