I can't import samples into my 404 ?

I'm doing all of the steps correctly but the message I get on the LED is UnS ?

someone help me out please ?

Are they converted to the right bit and hz?

I am assuming they are since it is only a collection of breaks I gathered with my SP404 this summer

Look at the 404 manual page 50. You will see the second to last message at the top is 'UnS (Unsupported format) The operation was cancelled because the WAV of AIFF is in a format not supported by the SP-404.'

Check page 38 of the manual and look in the box under "Importing Audio Files", this will give you all of the info for what files do and don't work with the machine.

Hope this helps! When in doubt double check the manual, I normally find my answer in there, it's really well written.

thanks for the manual info. I have read these pages and my files appear to be fine even though they show as UnS when attempting to import..

these files were pulled with the 404, saved to CFcard, placed on my hard drive and then later I have tried to import them back to my sp404..

Weird.. I would try and just run them through a wav converter again and see if that works.
