when i try to export it says e.h.p.
i hold cancel and resample and the sp-404 says fil, then i hit resample and its supposed to say exp but it says ehp for some reason. i tried to record it anyways and it seemed like it was but it wasn't on the memory card when i put it on my computer. does anybody know why it says ehp instead of exp? i've exported samples before
Re: when i try to export it says e.h.p.
well that was no help - seriously i finished a track yesterday and was so happy that it sounded decent but now it won't let me export..
no ones had the problem where it says "E.H.T."? i have no idea what that even stands for

Re: when i try to export it says e.h.p.
check the manual, i'm sure its in there.

i did check the manual and it's not in there
Re: when i try to export it says e.h.p.
can't you just record your newly finished beat straight out the box?
Re: when i try to export it says e.h.p.
you sure it means to be an 'h'? Some of the symbols they had to get pretty creative with what counted, because of the 7-segment displays, so you might find that they mean for 'h' to be a different character... there should be pictures of them all in the manual i think
Samples.
Re: when i try to export it says e.h.p.
yo i just tested it on the sp404, it kinda looks like a "EHP" but it means "EXP"
its because there are no diagonal letters

If I havent got confused..... Record the sp audio out as a stereo track into a laptop/multitrack instead of export the samples and rearrangingdhussey111 wrote:yes pleas explain what you wanna say..?spacetrip wrote:what do you mean record it straight out the box? btw dig your song 'imitations' just listened to itnthnglss wrote:can't you just record your newly finished beat straight out the box?

Re: when i try to export it says e.h.p.
what i mean is how can i record my finished work into ableton or audacity? i have the rca cables and i know how to bring a sample into my 404, but i don't know how to take my song off the 404. while were at it is there a way to drag samples into the 404 too without having to record it manually, drag n drop?

^^^
Thats how its supposed to look. its supposed to be an X not an H.
cancel + resample
then press resample again
then select the pad you want to export
then press record

Re: when i try to export it says e.h.p.

right, do you have an audio interface?? if you got a mic input on your laptop, get a twin rca cable to mini jack, plug it in. go to an ableton track and select the built in mic jack as an input, play your sp and you should see the meters moving, then just record. consult the ableton manual as i haven't used it in a while but think that's correct. really easy stuff, you will kick yourself when you got it working. good luck.spacetrip wrote:how do i do that? i really am frustrated trying to figure out how to send it to one of those programsnthnglss wrote:just record it into ableton or audacity then. done.
