changing pitch

Post by spacetrip »

hey all, in ableton you can take one sample and map it out across a keyboard to change the pitch for every key on the keyboard you hit, is there a way to do this on the sp-404? sorta a way to take a sample and map it across each pad to change the pitch?

1. hold the effects button
2. select pitch
3. change pitch
4. resample to next pad
5. repeat
i'm not sure if there's an easier way, i'm just basing this on 303 knowledge. i think they're about the same. the 404 from what i gather is just bigger. it's on my list though.

No. If you want to do this, get an MPC or Korg Microsampler. SP's do not do this at all.
