I am trying to upload samples from my memory card and i'm putting them in the root folder but for some reason when i try to upload on my SP-404 it says EMP. the files are 16 bit .aif, I cant seem to figure out what is going on

Please stop asking the same question in different posts.

You have 3 options.
1. Read the manual
2. Sample the sounds directly into your SP
3. Use the search function on the forum
