BITING AND STEALING BEATS !!!

This seems to be happening alot more often nowadays. I get the whole being inspired and influenced thing , but somethings just cross the line. For example this female on twitter was sayin some one guy had dope beats, u can tell he was influenced by me. So i went to peep out his soundcloud,and what i heard was some fresh soulful beats and remixes. I get to the 2nd page on his soundcloud it's a beat maker beat track. At first i thought he did an edit or something, but listened all the way through same exact beat. I looked at the comments and he gets a compliment, and dood replies like thank you kindly like he made it. wow !!! So on twitter my wife put dood on blast by tweetin him this beat with link to his soundcloud sounds alot like bmb aka spacekid with link to bandcamp. 15 min. later he deleted that beat along with alot more tracks. So dood comments i could've swore i was unknown. So being unknown justifies puttin other ppl music on your page and claiming it as yours. Weird thing is the beats he actually made was good. lol

Then i got him up on twitter that someone had one of my beats from machines hate me album on there bandcamp and selling it. If it's a dj mix all on 1 track maybe u can sell with permission. Thing is these track were all separate and titled track 1 - 20. with no link to artist at all. I'm they would say it promoting my music.lol No ethics in the beat game nowadays. Ppl in 90's would catch beatings for biting dance styles and rap styles easily. Plus ppl had signature sounds where it's easy to determine who was a fraud. Now they put frauds on a pedestal ,and look at the o.g's like u sound like so and so . I get compared to ppl even tho i was makin beats long b4 they had a drum machine . It's comedy to me tho.

the amount of fucked up tagging on youtube is a catastrophe. there are so many times that i'll search an artist (dibia$e, j dilla, flying lotus) and end up getting some other bullshit... uH yuck. get yer tags right.

Checked that link- its almost like the dude was going to credit you... Then he gave up on honesty. What gets me about this is the lazy prick has you as someone he follows & he hasn't even done anything since you started posting on the track pointing out his plagiarism.

@Dollar: I'm kinda surprised you didn't post links to out the creep to a wider bunch. 'Spose this is a risk with sharing anything online... Which sucks.

Maybe it's time to start watermarking our beats again.....

for rappers jacking beats it is still rude. however, putting your music out there without watermarks is almost asking to get jacked. there is some infomous beat jackers out there who soley work on jacked beats, the downside to this is, no matter how good of a rapper they are, they cannot be taken serious as a serious musician. I have a few hundred beats on an old soundclick just waiting to be jacked and I know many have been by unknown rappers, nothing i am going to worry about because i put myself in that position. partially the reason my old group broke up was me leaking to many beats. I make some heat and pass it around cross crew and this causes problems. as for dj sets, i jack beats sometimes but never take credit. a few records ago, hipster blend- extended blends, i accidently jacked 1 beat by ' accident ' by having someone elses file in my folders, my homey liked it and slapped it in. I immediatly removed it once i realized.
Hipster Blend V1 . original is all our work. no jacked beats. I am going to be releasing a few of my instrumental albums soon, 3 volumes, just to set the record straight I aint no sucker beat jacker. I also get a similar feeling about re using samples (mainly loops) someone else used. but this is not nearly as slimey as beat jacking. chopping and shit is complety different. yah
